As Venezuela was falling into a deep political and social slumber, in mid- 2003 there was already a void to be filled in the local Rock scene. As all Rock stories go, famous, anonymous and new as is the case, they are preceded by a fraternal, even infernal empathy evidently motivated by musical tastes and directions. XVICIO (EQUISVICIO) was born. The name is ever present in the ideas and themes that this power trio lives and experiences everyday. They bring together their love for Hard Rock & Roll with more eloquent tastes and influences to produce a musical barrage that no other act can follow. The sum of its parts makes this project the most honest, direct musical attraction of our local rock scene. Raw crushing, guitars, thundering bass in a melodic compositional context, and loud big drums position this band in a pure power trio rock and roll structure that will excite and delight all avid followers of this genre. X-VICIO looks into the personalities of its members, their personal experiences and those of their generation which has not yet expressed concrete musical ideas to give life to its profuse thoughts.

They have released their first album which is called X-VICIO, signed by Like A Lion Records a Venezuelan Independent label in late March 2008.
